Q: What was the first job you ever had?
A: I started babysitting/nannying as soon as I got my driver’s license at 16. I nannied the same family for three summers while home from college and at times would have to discipline them as if they were my own (which gave me some serious respect for the level of patience that my own mother possesses).
Q: What is something you just can’t live without?
A: As cliché as it sounds, I could not live without my dog. His name is Boomer and he is a Yorkie. A little guy with a big personality. We got him in March of 2020 and a week later the whole world shut down due to COVID. Coming home from college in the middle of spring semester was not ideal but being quarantined with a puppy made up for it. We have been inseparable ever since.
Q: What got you into mortgages?
A: A: Honestly, it was a fluke. I was working for a company that I did not see a future with and browsing job postings when I saw a posting from Northern Lakes. I didn’t know the first thing about mortgages, but after reading the description I thought “I can learn!”. After learning more about mortgages, I really liked the idea that each situation is different from the last and it is my job to sort through those differences to produce the best mortgage product for each customer.
